ASUS Memo 370T, the world’s first 7-inch tablet powered by the Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core mobile processor, was unveiled at the Consumer Electronic Show-2012.
According to CNET, Asus Memo 370T beat many other tablets on display at the world’s largest consumer electronics show to win the Best Tablet of CES 2012 Award with its premium performance for low cost at $250, roughly half the price of the cheapest iPad model.
Asus Memo 370T Feature
Asus Memo 370T runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, which is the latest version of Android platform for tablets and phones. It has 16 GB of storage, 1 GB of RAM and an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera, but no front-facing camera.
The Asus Memo 370T display will have a resolution of 1280-by-800 and uses a technology called in-plane switching to serve up wide viewing angles. It will have a microUSB port, a microSD card reader and micro HDMI-out.
The small Asus Memo 370T tablet will sport some impressive specs beyond what we expected from both its size and cost. The tablet will sport the quad-core Tegra 3, 1280×800 resolution IPS display and 1GB RAM. The device will also house a number of connectivity options including micro USB, micro HDMI and a microSD card reader. The built-in 8MP rear camera may even be similar to the one found in the Transformer Prime (now called Transformer T201).
